Research interests relevant to game philosophy

My recent research activities have been in the field of gamification research from a historical point of view and from the viewpoint of Althusserian ideology critique. I’d propose that gamification is a form of ideology, i.e. neccessary false consciousness. I’d also suggest that gamification has a predigital precursor that should not be ignored in the face of contemporary digital concepts of gamification.
